Frances
I simply adored the charming decoration of the hotel, with its old-world ambiance and cozy corners that made me feel like I was stepping back in time. The general areas were beautifully maintained, and I found them to be quite accessible for senior people like myself. The staff was always ready to assist me and ensured that I felt comfortable during my stay.
I did wish that there were more options available for senior-friendly activities or services. Perhaps organizing guided tours or providing additional assistance for those with mobility challenges would make it an even more enjoyable vacation for senior people.

The Knight House is located in the heart of the historic Old Town, making it the perfect base for exploring the city. Despite being in the city center, the hotel is tucked away on a quiet street, ensuring a peaceful and undisturbed stay. The rooms are well-lit and offer a fantastic view of the nearby Kok in die Kiek tower. Plus, the hotel provides big lockers, allowing guests to securely store their belongings.
The only minor downside was the lack of a welcoming attitude from one staff member.

The complimentary hot chocolate and cookies were a nice touch during the winter season. The location was perfect for exploring the historic center and for visiting the Christmas market. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and helped with recommendations for places to eat and drink.
The walls were thin and we could hear everything going on in neighboring rooms, which made it difficult to sleep at night. The heating system was also unreliable, and the room was either too hot or too cold.

The Knight House is located in a great place in the old town, right near the centre and within the city walls. The hotel is in a very quiet area, ensuring a peaceful stay. The rooms are basic but comfortable, and I particularly enjoyed the view of the Kok in die Kiek tower from my room. The staff were friendly and attentive, providing all the necessary amenities. The breakfast, including freshly made pancakes, was a delightful start to each day.
The coffee at breakfast, which was less than satisfactory.
